Urban Verse Publishers is a network of aspriring authors working diligently to get their unpublished works to the masses. In an interview with Tracie Christian, Creator of Urban Verse Publishers & KTE Foundation for Literary Discovery Inc.

Question: Can you tell us how you first became interested in starting a network venue for aspiring authors?

TC: Growing up in the city of Detroit, I've always wanted to give something back to the community. I have always had a passion for writing and have been involved in the poetry sector for a couple of years. Seeing many talented poets peddling their own self published works, I figured that their must be fictional writers of great unpublished novels that would like to be known. Myself being one of them. So, I decided to sacrifice myself by developing a way to distribute my story at low cost. If this works for me, then I'll be in a position to prove first hand that I can put others on and make a real contribution to the community that produced me!
